1. What did you do in 2011 that you'd never done before?
Moved out by myself (although temporarily)

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
No I made the resolution not to vomit from drinking too much and I did about 3 or 4 times although it is a drastic improvement from 2010!) lol. My other resolution was to get a job which I did but it was only a temp position so I have to make that my resolution again this year (alongside no self caused vomiting for drinking)

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes my sister gave birth to a little girl (Zoe) on the 30th of December which was surprising as her due date was the 17th of January this year.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yes my mothers childhood friend (who is also my sister's godmother) died a week before Christmas. We are having a memorial for her on Friday the 13th.

5. What countries did you visit?
Taiwan for my Uncles wedding. not the best holiday as Mum's appendix burst over there and we spent most of it in the hospital. Hong Kong (well the airport anyway) and Fiji which was great! I would totally go there again.

6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
A permanent job and maybe a boyfriend (not that I'm desperate but it would be nice).

7. What date from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
When the job I got in Broken Hill rung me while I was about to enter a different interview (stressful bad timing but at least I left that interview knowing I at least had one job).

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
My temp contract getting extended at the school which meant they must have been happy with me Oh and getting my third degree!

9. What was your biggest failure?
There was a kid in my class I wanted to get though to but his behaviour didn't improve (at least he was horrible to everyone though not just me).

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Mostly just allergies nothing serious.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
More clothes! lol Also as boring as it is buying red pens in bulk was very handy.

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
My friends who despite me moving away stayed in regular contact (one rang me every week).

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
A boy I met a a club who just wanted a one-night-stand with me (didn't happen cause I'm a lady and don't do such things). Funnily enough he never called me afterwards *shrugs*..

14. Where did most of your money go?
Travel and rent.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
I was excited about going to taiwan but as previously stated it didn't turn out well. Hmmmm I was also excited about the new job and moving away from home which turned out well.

16. What song will always remind you of 2011?
Don't let me go (not sure if that's the name of it I think the Fray may sing it but not sure).

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier?
Not really I'm happy I have a gorgeous niece but stress over my mum's friends death has taken some of the shine off it.

ii. thinner or fatter?
About the same.

iii. richer or poorer?
About the same....maybe a little richer.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Socialise (doing uni and full time work leaves you with a pitiful social life!)

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Stress

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
This year or last? Last year I went to my cousins house and this year I have no idea!

21. Did you fall in love in 2011?
No

None!

23. What was your favorite TV program?
Oh I like the new Ringer show! I also like My Little Pony Friendship is Magic ha ha

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
No.....the list did not grow last year.

25. What was the best book you read?
Fallen

26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Hmmmmm not sure really got into Katey Perry though. Oh and I have a talent for conducting! I conducted the Junior Choir at presentation night and received many compliments from staff and parents. One parent said the school will loose musically when I leave.

27. What did you want and get?
A job and independence.

28. What did you want and not get?
A permanent job, lists of money and a boyfriend (but i din't want a boyfriend in Broken Hill)

29. What was your favourite film of this year?
Twilight (breaking dawn part 1) and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (part 2)

30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I had a Beauty and the Geek themed party in my parents backyard. I turned 25 (officially mid twenties).

31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Getting a permanent job and winning the lottery (although i have heard that you have to enter that in order to win...)

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2011?
Uber girly and corporate sheek.

33. What kept you sane?
Who says I stayed sane?


34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Hmmmmmm the boys from Packed to the Rafters as I met them!

35. What political issue stirred you the most?
Suggesting of paying teachers based on students results which is total BS as teachers in high socio economic areas would have an advantage and it would prompt teachers to alter children's results. This comes up every year and it stupid.

36. Who did you miss?
I missed most of my friends as i wasn't at home for a while.

37. Who was/were the best new person(s) you met?
I met lots of new people but maybe remeeting a girl I had once worked with in Sydney in Broken Hill (small world).

38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2011?
Sound confident even if your not cause otherwise people will think your stupid and not know what your doing.
